Sausage and Rice Casserole Recipe
You will need:
- ground Italian sausage (browned)
- one small onion chopped and cooked with your sausage
- 2 cups of uncooked white rice
- 1 can of cream of mushroom or chicken soup
- 2 cups of chicken broth
What to do:
Preheat oven to 350. Brown your sausage and onion together draining off any excess grease. Mix meat with 2 cups of uncooked white rice and 1 can of either cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup. Either will work fine for this. Spread in your casserole dish (13X9) and pour 2 cups of chicken broth over the top. Place in the oven and cook for 30-45 minutes.
It comes out fluffy and ready to eat. Add salt and pepper as you feel it is needed. Fiends this meal is great !
