2014 Reading List
1. I am a huge fan of Jeanine Frost and the Night Huntress Series. This is a spin off from that so I can't wait to start it. I seriously LOVED Cat and Bones.
This is now a Netflix original series. Before I watch the series I really want to read the book. I've read mixed reviews so we'll see.
Up from the Grave is #7 in the Night Huntress series. More Cat and Bones YES!!! This book is release January 28, 2014 and I've been waiting patiently for it. Can't wait!
4. The Moon Dwellers by David Estes has been on my to read list for quite a while now. I just somehow never make it to this one but I've heard it is great. This is a YA dystopian where humans are underground and creating a new society.
The Silent Wife is about a marriage in the throes of dissolution, a couple headed for catastrophe, concessions that can’t be made, and promises that won’t be kept.
A romance/fantasy this book has gotten excellent reviews. It has been on my list for a while and I really want to get to it soon.
The slow fix is nonfiction which I do not read a lot of. I like something that's going to grab my imagination. I am intrigued by this book though about working smarter and living better.
Dualed by Elsie Chapman The Hunger Games meets Matched in this high-concept thriller where citizens must prove their worth by defeating the other version of themselves—their twin. (Enough said there I want to read it! )
It just wouldn't be a list without some paranormal creatures we love. Beautiful and Cursed sounds like it will more than fit that bill. Looking forward to seeing it.
Even as Gone Girl grows truly twisted and wild, it says smart things about how tenuous power relations are between men and women, and how often couples are at the mercy of forces beyond their control. As if that weren’t enough, Flynn has created a genuinely creepy villain you don't see coming. People love to talk about the banality of evil. You’re about to meet a maniac you could fall in love with. A” — Jeff Giles, Entertainment Weekly
