The Holly Jolly Holiday Trolley Tour #TuesdaysTravels

We hopped in the car this week and headed to St. Augustine Florida to see Christmas lights.  We decided to explore via the Holly Jolly Trolley tourr.  At first I was a little bit concerned the line was LONG and it was cold. Or cold to us Floridians it had dropped under our favorite 70.  We purchased tickets and waited to board a trolley. Once our turn came we were given complimentary magical viewing glasses.

Lights Tour

Historic St.Augustine is all sparkly with over two million lights.  The glasses make the lights look amazing. I wish I could get a picture for you of what they look like through them "really cool" is all I can tell you.   On the trolley they played Christmas songs and passengers were able to sing along in a caroling type atmosphere.  We were able to get off and get a complimentary cookie and apple cider.

The tour takes about 30-35 minutes.  You can even get off and have your photo taken with Santa.  You can use your own camera or purchase a professional one.  My guy got closer than usual but he still wants no part of Santa.  After we saw Santa we hopped back on the trolley to finish our tour and go back to the car.

C. loved the tour.  When we got off he called out hey lets do that again!  Cold and all it made for some great family fun.  I definitely think we will make this part of our family traditions.
