The Juliette Gordon Low house is a must see if you are a Girl Scouts or history buff.  We recently took our troop for a trip to Savannah, Georgia to take a  tour of the house.  If you like to look at homes and architecture you will enjoy taking a look around. You will also find that the Juliette Gordon Low House is with in walking distance of many of the other  homes that can be toured in historic Savannah. The Juliette Gordan Low House is the birthplace of Juliette.  As an adult and young wife she live in the Andrew Low Home  which is also a home that can be toured in Savannah.

I was sad to see that the restoration had the entire outside of the home covered during our visit. But they did have a very inventive screen over that ugly scaffolding.  That was a once in lifetime experience our girls got at the home during restoration. The guides were very friendly and it was so nice to be able to tour a home museum that was kid friendly. Our Girl Scouts got to participate in a pinning ceremony in the garden where Juliette Gordon Low played as child that was so cool. That afternoon we had a very special treat we got to dress up and learn about what a child would have done on a rainy day in the 1800's. if you have a Girl Scout troop please try and visit they will love it.
