What I thought:
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This is a great sequel to Easy Bake Coven (which I loved). Selene (the main character) finds herself needing to choose between two men. Her husband Cheney and another. She has mixed memories of the two and doesn't know who to trust. A love triangle isn't all that takes place in Hungry Hungry Hoodoo. Selene discovers she is wrapped up in a curse and she must break it to survive. But first, she has to determine who cast the curse. And be sure she gets it right, because there is only one chance. Then there is the bond between Selene and Cheney. She's determined to have it broken so she can see how she really feels. IS that a mistake? I suspect we will find out in book #3.
I really like both Selene and Cheney as characters so I'm looking forward to the plot thickening in book #3.
