Florida Caverns State Park ~ Tuesday's Travels

Living at the Whiteheads Zoo
Florida Caverns State Park is located in Marianna Florida.  This park is the only park in Florida to offer public cave tours.  Florida Caverns State Park is popular for camping, picnicking and horseback riding.  The beautiful Chipola River and a freshwater spring provide areas for fishing, and canoeing.

We had a great time camping at this park.  The kids enjoyed the canoe and fishing. See that big fish...weenie roast and smores and all of the fun things that go with camping of course. Don't forget your bikes it is a great place to ride around and explore.  The campsites were nice and fairly large.  The cave tour is neat .
Florida Caverns photo download5.jpgPretty amazing right!   Just an FYI ~ cave tours are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.  Have you  been anywhere fun lately? Looking for more fun trips check out our Tuesday Travels Page.  Link it up ...we'd love to see your adventures!
