Valentine's Day Books For Preschoolers

Are you looking for some Valentine's Day books to read with your young children? Here are a few we've been reading this week . We're looking forward to finding a few more so stay tuned as the big day draws closer!

. The Biggest Valentine EverThe Biggest Valentine Ever by Steven Kroll
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This is a good book to teach about sharing and working in twos. Two friends begin making a card for their teacher and disagree on how it should look tearing their project in half. Oh boy haven't we all seen that happen in the classroom. After going home and telling their parents they are encouraged to work together on the Valentine and do so the next day. Making Mrs.Mousely the perfect Valentine.

Valentines for EveryoneValentines for Everyone by Cecilia Minden
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

A good story for little ones about welcoming a new class mate. Maria is new to the class and everyone wants to make her feel special and makes her a Valentine so she's not left out at the class party.

Valentine Mice!Valentine Mice! by Bethany Roberts
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

Valentine Mice is a cute little book for preschoolers. I like the use of action words Skip, Hop, swoosh, plop, slide. zip, lots of words for them to act out and think about.
